Fairchild Controls appoints Mike Stauffer as its new Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain

Frederick, Maryland, April 14, 2008

Fairchild Controls has named Mike Stauffer as its Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain, reporting directly to company President Scott Selle.

Stauffer has 24 years of aerospace operations planning, manufacturing, and materials management experience. He most recently was Fairchild Controls’ Director of Strategic Sourcing and Materials Management, and previously led the company’s internal manufacturing department.

“At Fairchild Controls, we emphasize the integrated nature of our internal operational resources with our external network of partnering suppliers. Mike is the right leader to oversee this vital function,” Selle said. “He succeeds Rick Hunsicker, who has retired after a 38-year aerospace industry career.”

Stauffer holds a BS degree from Hood College, and earned various professional certifications from such leading organizations as the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Management and the APICS (Association for Operations Management).
